About Us

About Us – Nostalgic Lab
At Nostalgic Lab, we believe the most beautiful pixels come from the past. We're a team of four friends brought together by a shared passion: the magic of retro gaming and everything that brings us back to the golden age of video games. From the beeps of the Game Boy to the iconic sounds of the SEGA Mega Drive — we live for that nostalgic feeling only true classics can deliver. 💾✨

How It All Started 🎬
What began as casual conversations about childhood favorites soon turned into a mission: to build a place where retro fans feel at home. We didn’t just miss the games — we missed the feeling. So we created Nostalgic Lab: our digital playground built from love for pixels, cartridges, and endless gaming sessions.

Who We Are ⁉️
We’re four colleagues — but more importantly, four friends — each with our own memories and favorite consoles. From Gameboy to PlayStation 1, from Mario to Pokemon, our tastes vary but our passion unites us. Together, we bring a unique mix of knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm that shines through in everything we do.

Meet the team 👇

Lars
Our technical wizard. Lars grew up surrounded by flickering CRT screens and was gaming before he could even read. His favorite retro game? Super Metroid on the SNES.

“I used to draw maps of the game world for hours. No YouTube or walkthroughs — just you and the game.”

Lisa
The creative heart of Nostalgic Lab, responsible for visuals, atmosphere, and community. Her favorite? The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past — a game that, in her words, “has more emotion than some books.”

“Retro is all about emotion. That moment when the music kicks in and you’re instantly back in your childhood.”

Jens
Our collector and handheld expert. Jens still brings his Game Boy everywhere and has a soft spot for all things Nintendo. His first love? Pokémon Blue.

“I remember sitting in the car with the box on my lap, already reading the manual. That excitement... you never forget it.”

Rick
The storytelling brain behind our content. Rick’s retro journey began with a SEGA Mega Drive and never stopped. His favorite? Sonic the Hedgehog 2 — speed, color, and unforgettable music.

“Sonic felt like a rock star in pixels. Pure adrenaline on screen.”
